MUFON has had an almost-secret --or at least under publicized-- project going called
THE AMBIENT MONITORING PROJECT: MUFON Journal July 2008 #483.

MUFON has nearly completed AMP, a clandestine monitoring project, placing hidden sensors about the size of a woman’s makeup compact in homes where ET abductions have been reported and painstakingly evaluated by respected field researchers.

AMP’s designers treated their ET adversary as intelligent beings capable of insight and not easily fooled. MUFON researchers designed the device so that if ET interfered with the mechanism --in any detectable way-- that interference would have been detected, adding evidence to the conclusion something physical was going on. So far, not one unexplainable physical mechanical interference with AMP equipment was detected except one… a cat. Hey, Cleo, stop that!

This kind of controlled, active investigation and intervention are necessary if we ever want to go beyond passive research and investigating after the fact. I believe this kind of program is crucial in producing evidence of intelligences behind UFOs, non-human entities apparently involved with abductions, and other types of unexplainable experiences.

Remember as you read this, that MUFON has always had a very limited budget; these researchers are doing the best they can with what they have. It took years to get the funding for this project and still it wasn’t complete. So this crucial research went on ad hoc, as more donated funds became available. Three cheers to MUFON and all those doing the careful planning over years, and the real footwork!

And remember this, too: your friendly, highly trained MUFON researcher is not being paid a dime.

In 1998, the beginning of the hardware side of a plan was implemented by engineer and MUFON member Tom Deuley. Deuley agreed to design the sensor equipment to be placed in homes where residents had well documented abduction experiences. After three years of building and testing, MUFON researchers were ready. Each test site centered on experiencers hand-picked by respected UFO abduction researchers. Names of researchers have not been released yet.

Small sensor units were built into what look like a wooden jewelry box. Sensors measured activity every second, and downloaded data to outside computers. AMP spanned three years of testing plus two years of active research.

Final analysis of the data is being done anonymously --outside MUFON-- so objectivity is assured.

At the end of each day, the person experiencing abductions kept a time and date journal tracking whether they experienced an abduction or not. Their journal records are now being compared to the sensor evidence.

If their experience of abductions have been happening while the sensors were operating, then we have strong evidence these experiences are a real and external phenomenon. What type of sensor is inside these boxes MUFON doesn’t say in the latest article, but most of us can guess. After all, we’ve had baby monitors --often accidentally revealing babysitter and nanny misdeeds-- for more than a decade; we’ve had widely available extremely sophisticated motion sensors for nearly half a century. Not to mention cell phone cams.

But what does it take to game those MUFON AMP sensors? Tom Cruise in black tights on fly wires?

Hollywood aside, whatever ET is, there has been at least half a century in America of what we’ve come to call alien abduction, a significant period of modern history with these entities evading physical detection long enough to fail to satisfy most of us in our daylight world that abductees were not…just dreaming.

Will the AMP sensors be enough? A half-century of abduction reports, apparently with no believable photographic or electronic records, shows us we have at least, a cautious, canny adversary. Being smarter than ET means just that. Have we been smarter enough? Have we done enough?

MUFON is continuing to do some good boots on the ground active investigation of: on-going UFO phenomenon. Ted Phillips and his team are using new equipment on the Marley Woods lights. They have also investigated multi-contact cases in their homes as it is happening.

I intend, though, to keep my antenna up for what is found on this AMP abduction research. If AMP finds something very significant it may be a presented at a MUFON symposium.

In many of my posts I mention the botched-up job NIDS did at Skinwalker Ranch. My main complaint was how NIDS research teams treated the phenomenon as if it were not intelligent. Of course they had their clock cleaned.

But in the end, NIDS still didn’t get the idea. This idea is one of my main concepts behind Alien Specie Psychology; that is, ETs probably played watch-the NIDS-team- arrive and set up their equipment to monitor them and played with them… ‘played with them’ as in, took a humorous, thoughtful, interactive approach to the situation.

The NIDS-Skinwalker Ranch debacle shows that we have at least some ET-like or ET-associated phenom produced not by the mono-emotional type creatures that are baffled by us, as ETs appear in most abduction reports, but rather, with creatures I believe are very astute, cognizant of our variable behavior, and at times, who make fun of our behavior.

What these Skinwalker Ranch intelligences did was funny, maybe because what these possible-ETs watched NIDS do was definitely funny…the scientific team comes in and in broad daylight, with no camouflaging at all, they shimmy up poles to install cameras and camera-monitoring units up snug and secure. And what’s more, researchers openly discussed, right in the areas of most frequently reported activity, their research program and security plan. NIDS did this because they didn’t worry about being overheard, since the other side was nothing more than…strange lights. Right!

Made the ETs’ day, I bet.

If you haven’t looked at the Skinwalker Ranch case yet, what happened, among other things, is the “metaphysical phenomenon”, the lights, literally destroyed one of NIDS monitor cameras while the destruction was being filmed by another monitor camera. The black electrical tape used to hold the camera wires in place all the way up the post were neatly unwound and left at the bottom of the post in neat bundles.

Talk about sticking it in your face…

However, the scientists say they were baffled as to what it could have been that carefully dismantled surveillance cameras and security set-ups. There were all kinds of phenomenon, NIDS Skinwalker Ranch researchers say… couldn’t be one source…

Yes it could.

I’ve read through the Skinwalker Ranch book and couldn’t find one example of a phenomenon reported at the Gordon’s ranch that couldn’t been achieved through very advanced technology.

Anyway, back to MUFON and THE AMBIENT MONITORING PROJECT. There can be only three scenarios which could be played out in a final analysis of this data.
1. The Entities are caught off guard and MUFON gets some startling evidence.
2. The Entities know what is happening because they can read abductees’ minds and decide to either participate, by giving some evidence --although not necessarily conclusive evidence-- or fool the detectors.
3. The people are not having true abductions or are having other experiences or hoaxing.

It may be that now ETs are letting us slowly know they are here.

Sci-Fi writers have written with insight about intelligent ETs, exploring possibilities that intelligence shows up in non-human cultures through more, and different facets of those cultures and individuals than just technology.

In Sci-Fi literature the matter of intelligence also being wise is a major theme; we can go to hundreds of books and stories that investigate how great wisdom may choose to show or disguise itself. Sci-Fi is full of how the decision to conceal or reveal may come after millennia of experience gleaned by revelation experiments, as aliens of all kinds, individuals, cultures, and galaxy-wide alliances of cultures and worlds decide to hide contact until a species is ready.

Betty And Barney Hill Part 2: Light, Action, Camera!

Now that we’re beyond the absolute nonsense used by the debunkers to discredit the Hills’ story, we have to address the details of what the Hills actually reported.

Problem is, the ETs don’t make sense.

Let’s take a close look at these ETs, their actions and their “accoutrements”, as Harlan Ellison would say. Where I’m going with my ETs Don’t Make Sense theory is mostly guided by two sources, the great book Captured by Stanton Friedman and Betty’s niece, Kathleen Marden, and listening to the Hills’ therapy session tapes.

After the Hills are taken aboard the ship, the ETs or entities led Barney and Betty to different exanimation rooms which looked very similar to ours --but not quite. Betty describes the examining table as hard, and about four feet long; Barney mentions how his feet were sticking over the end.

This description begs the question. The same kind of tables we have? And the similarities go on. The examination itself is very similar to an extensive examination in a doctor’s office. The instruments are different but similar to ours. This additional similarity is problematic: why? Does evolving a million years, or even 500 years into the future only give you star travel, while everything else remains stuck in time, consistent with what our technology is now?

It stretches the imagination beyond belief that star-traveling ETs have no advanced methods --including less painful methods-- of performing these medical tests.

The Relax, It’s Just The Trickster Myth At Work people claim this entire terrifying scenario shared in part, yet distinguished by particular differences between both individuals’ experience, was a projection of collective conscious. And so the Trickster Myth people would have us join their collective delusion that these terrifying claims of Barney and Betty Hill are nothing more than iconic mind projections.

That would be nice if we could leave it there. Unfortunately these myths and iconic projections have...been recorded on radar, killed our pilots, disabled our missiles, and destroyed at least one of our missiles --representing the most advanced weaponry on Earth.

In one instance the entity scrapes Betty Hill’s skin with a blade. Betty understands the ETs’ purpose is to take skin samples. Here again, an advance species is still scraping the skin the way we do. Then, as Betty is lying on the table, the entity tries to insert a needle attached to a device into her navel, much the we perform amniocentesis...but again a minor difference. She complains that it hurts and they stop, but the needle it the “biggest I ever saw.” We find in this instance some type of test that was not feasible at the time, but does became a fairly common though costly test in the near future.

And here a principle takes shape: surroundings, tools, and procedures similar to ours, yet medically advanced…but not by much.

Betty notices a map and questions the entity about it. The ET explains that this is a map of their home world and their travels to new worlds. The entity explains what the solid and dashed lines mean: solid lines show two-way trade with other worlds and dashed lines indicate expeditions into new systems. What a wonderful word to use, “trade”. We understand trade as having a benign meaning.

So are we saying that solid lines are used the same way we use them. This map showing their home world. Why would they let other entities see these maps? Why would an apparently strategic trade map, illustrating economic relationships, be shown to a medical examinee?

Then the ETs have a problem with Betty’s zipper. They didn’t know what a zipper was?
The entity offers Betty something to take back with her, a book --again, similar to ours-- and he tells her she can have the book.

Let’s think this over. Apparent extraterrestrials capture two mated humans on a lonely road and put them in a deep trance, force them [or at least one of them] to take highly invasive, dangerous and painful medical tests, and then the ET entity wants to give the female, at her request, absolute proof of their capture, conversation, and probably, of their identify. Of course it doesn’t happen, but what happens after that seems even stranger. The entity debates the subject of the gift book with another entity, and he loses the debate. In other words, among this crew of an apparent interstellar craft crew the rule: “no leaving the natives proof” was something new, something this other entity was unaware of?

But you have to admit all this exchange is so easily recognizeable, so understandable to us because most of what these ETs do, we do.

Knowing with all my heart right now these abductees are not lying or dreaming, and believing most of what they report, I have come to the conclusion the Betty and Barney Hill abduction was staged for the Hills’ benefit and for our benefit. Yes, the entities knew the psychological block would eventually wear off, they know this is always the case. Why wouldn’t they be aware of the limitations of their mind control technology?

What is happening aboard these ships is not so much esoteric, as it is a good nuts and bolts stage show.

But why do these entities validate the experience by showcasing future events and techniques?

These may be subliminal messages given to the Hills, a pregnancy test not in use yet, three dimensional mapping, strange book, and the star system sequence which wouldn’t fit our observable skyscape --or our computer-calculable maps for years.

What is the end result? They are like us.

It may be these ETs, these entities don’t actually need or use the tools or types of instrumentation displayed to the Hills and others. But in that instance, would we even understand what was happening?

We have to admit now the ETs are doing some type of symbol communications.

They also seem to be able to put suggestions into peoples minds. So why not stages to present themselves, while they do whatever it is they need to do?

We find a message of familiarity in all these types of objects, a communication we can understand and relate to…US YET NOT US.

The retelling of the Hills’ true experience does not suggest a horrible, killing ET invader, but rather, ETs with the same compassion and curiosity that we have…scary but not too scary.

The whole interaction may be a way to communicate to us in a benign way. The mentioning of trade to us signifies the peaceful co-existence of our world. Are they suggesting it is a part of their world, too?

I believe, considering our continuing development of a world view, that ETs may have a developed an experienced Worlds View. What does that mean? It means in the final analysis, if anyone has the experience of when to disclose the ETs’ occasional presence among other worldly species, it would be them…and maybe… just maybe… now is the time.

Betty Hill And Barney Hill: Profiles In Courage Part 1

If anyone were my spiritual mentors in the UFO community it was Betty and Barney Hill.

That may sound funny, but they lived their testimony, rather than just talking.

Many of you are too young to know what would have happened to an interracial couple like Betty and Barney on certain streets in the good old USA back then. Happily married bi-racial couples --especially black men with white women-- were the greatest fear of the racist community…and that community did not just talk their talk, either.

I know we love to hear all these peace-and-love, mind-blowing guru pronouncements and parables about love, but for me, true spiritual love is not only wrapped up in words, instead, it’s the action you take when another human being is being treated unjustly. Betty and Barney Hill not only lived as activists in the NAACP, but they loved each other across the decades in a dignified, strong way that is both a showcase and a tribute to what’s best in the human race.

If ET did stage the sighting and abduction of this interracial couple to introduce themselves to us, they couldn’t have picked a better example of what human beings will do when a basic freedom is within their grasp, and how they can overcome vastly powerful racial divides with love.

The debunkers don’t what you to talk about the character of these people. Why? Because it was hard in the face of this historic couple’s genuine integrity to call them liars, so twisting the astounding double-witness experience as ‘dreaming’ was a safer spin the disinfo meisters could wield.

In Susan Clancy’s book How People Come To Believe They Were Kidnapped By Aliens, the author quotes a statement borrowed from one of my all time favorites from The Debunkers Dumb Statement List: “IT WAS TV!”

To show how ridiculous that suggestion was, I decided to do a quick parody on this theory starring Bill O’Reilly, whose contradictions and misstatements of fact are a phenomenon unto themselves. According to Clancy, who was spinning the skeptic yarn of unexplanation, the Hills got their aliens right out of an episode of “Outer Limits”.

This abduction Stuff is so stupid I’ve been thinking about it….and…Welllll….. the Hills must have watched that episode of “Outer Limits” …you know, the one what was it’s name… That it! “The Bellero Shield”. Why, that episode was just like what they describe…why the Alien was just the same…big wrap around eyes, sinewy body. Just the same…Yes, it’s obvious the images in their dream were from that episode. She saw that scary “Outer Limits” and had a waking nightmare…and all this foolish talk about abduction it, was a dream, nothing more…A dream!

Wrong Clancy-O’Reilly. The “Bellero Shield” episode aired three years after the Hill abudction.

They must have been using the same time machine as the Roswell Test dummies. This is supposed to be debunking, folks. I wonder why Paul Kimball is not ranting, I mean, writing on this important discrepancy.

We must all remember one important point shown to us over and over again: the simple truth will never stand in the way of good disinformation.

This is another important point for Marden. In the past, the Hills --Betty in particular-- were accused of seeking publicity. It just wasn't that way, says the niece. "Barney was appointed chair of Rockingham County Community Action Program and was also on the state advisory board for economic opportunity board. He was also a New Hampshire representative to the Civil Rights Commission and legal redress to the NAACP and on the New Hampshire regional board." Betty also held positions in these organizations, and was an envoy to the United Nations through their church.

And the Hills, does anyone really believe they faked this? Go listen to the original tapes.

There is another part to this story that smacks of truthfulness and that is how long it took the couple to seek help. We know now this is a difficult road for anyone to travel, but think of being the representative to the public for a cause of full freedom for your race in those days, and how merciless the scrutiny from both your allies and the enemies of the justice and racial equality movements must have been. Do these two people --who, after the circus atmosphere around the abduction experience and the various attacks decided to retire from the limelight-- sound like publicity hounds to you?

Remember the ground truths of the era when the Hill case happened:
--Abductions were unknown…to Americans, at least;
--ET were not in the news, and the only information the Hills had was their own experience;
--The facts of the experience seemed too insane to be real.

The Hills stand out as people who couldn’t possible be the people the professional debunkers and disinfo agents made them out to be. They were fighters, these Hills. They were stand up Americans doing what America does best: standing up for freedom.

The beauty of the Hills was they were truly unspoiled, and yet they saw something very shatteringly bizarre, similar to what was reported before at Roswell, but kept smothered for decades.

But after I accept Betty and Barney’s honest recounting of the details of their abduction, I was still troubled, as I think all thoughtful people probably were.

So in my next post I raise some of my questions and the problems inherent in the perennially shocking case of American heroes Betty and Barney Hill. Hope you’ll join me in exploring some likely and unlikely answers.

Debunkers and at least one school of true believers suggest that UFOs are nothing more than projections of the collective unconscious, or part of some grander mystical phenomenon.

But when you hear the well-documented testimony of military whistle blowers, veterans of the missile silos and missile test flights, you get a more sinister and very important possibility: ET.

Namely, we’ve got real phenomenon run by real intelligence that’s not US military, not any other nation’s military, and likely not human at all.

Many inside and outside our diverse ufology community would have us not worry about UFOs.

But do we have a choice. I’m not saying ETs are evil but I do think we have a responsibility as members of the human species --especially if we’ve observed how UFOs are a real and not 100% psychological phenomenon-- to consider seriously the ET theory of UFOs.

And carefully considering the ET theory of UFOs means looking at all the possibilities about UFOs and ETs, including all possible motives, even, or especially, those that are not just about Galactic Love and Peace.

Personally, I believe Dr. Mitchell when he says though “they are not overtly hostile”, but until we sort this all out, we should “keep our wits about us.”

One of the most powerful examples is not only of the presence of UFOs and ETs but their powerful curiosity around our nuclear weapons. UFOs have been seen around the explosions of the Atomic bombs and hydrogen bombs, but reports also indicate whoever was flying them, UFOs were much more interested in our delivery systems and how to disable them.

Bob Salas, former USAF officer, worked at base where missiles malfunctioned:
“In 1967, I was on duty as a missile launch officer…First, I get one call saying that they're seeing strange lights flying in the sky…About five minutes later, the main security guard -- the flight security controller calls down and says he's looking at a glowing red object, very large, hovering over the front gate. And he wants to know what to do….

So within seconds of that call, my missiles start shutting down. I recall losing all 10 of them…”

Dr. Bob Jacobs, USAF (Ret.), former photographic instrumentation officer:
“And as I watched, the warhead -- the dummy warhead…that was put out in front of it as the decoy to deflect the Russian…radar -- everything was flying along and suddenly…at about 8,000 miles an hour, an object came into the frame, shot a beam of light at the warhead, flew up to the top, shot another beam of light at the warhead, flew around the direction it was flying, shot another beam of light at the warhead, flew down to shoot another beam of light at the warhead and then flew out the same way it came in”

We are talking about taking down a nuclear missile during takeoff!

How far away from the mystical can you get?

Now The Jets.
Bob Jamison, former USAF officer, superiors told him UFOs cause missile malfunctions:
“I was called in...they have a map of the whole complex, the green lights where the missiles are good. But there's one small area with 10 red lights. It means those missiles were out.

…A missile had gone down. My job as a target officer was to bring them back up...

Very rarely does a missile malfunction. And I don't think any -- much more rare would be two at the same time. But never 10.”

When deaths are involved, clearly, we are not talking Trickster mythology here; we’re talking about a hostile intercept and the superior craft winning by downing the human-piloted aircraft pursuer…us. And we see these reports again and again.

Let’s think who could these be… Nazi flying saucers from hidden caves? Our own secret pilots testing out vintage German saucers? Even though our pilots were easily out- maneuvered and killed…

If you come to the same conclusions I have --that ETs, not hallucinations from the collective unconscious, and not abstract folkloric Trickster myths, are a strong possibility-- consider this: all those ET pilots in battle with our military pilots could have easily escaped. Whoever is behind the UFO craft that attack and kill our pursuing aircraft and pilots, they didn’t choose diversionary tactics, they didn’t choose to use that superior technology and zoom away. They fought, and they used lethal force.

These are sobering thoughts, but we still can’t assume ETs are “overtly hostile”.

Human governments can be savage and dangerous to lethal, even as Bush White House-sanctioned waterboarding, Abu Gharib, and the CIA torture ‘rendition’ flights, along with those more extreme historic extermination and torture operations of Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Pol Pot show. These are the savage truths about us humans.

We also have strong evidence some UFOs were going down.

Air Force pilot Robert Willingham, in the book The Other Roswell, tells his story to authors Torres and Uriarte:
“…the object was traveling at 2,000 miles per hour, and he saw it make a sudden 90-degree turn, without slowing down. As the UFO streaked toward the Texas-Mexico border, Willingham received permission to…pursue the object in his F-86 fighter. …Willingham followed it down to near Del Rio, Texas, where he saw it suddenly begin to wobble and descend rapidly.As the pilot watched in stunned silence, the UFO plunged toward the Rio Grande River, plowing into the ground just south of Langtry, Texas and digging out a 300-yard long furrow before finally coming to rest…”

So ETs knew we had captured one of their scouts, and took action.

Interesting how, in the Stephenville reports, UFO craft move away without attacking when the jets pursued. I bet they didn’t arm or lock on…but I am not an expert. There is no doubt in my mind if they had attacked, our jets would’ve been sent to a fiery Gehenna.

So what are the true motives of ETs?
How do we track motive? Should we discount these documented apparent attacks by ETs? Or are we just to smile, and passively fold these apparent hostilities within a larger perspective?

I say truth is truth, no matter whose parade it rains on…even my own.

Of course we have to look at the other side.

Given the highly intelligent ET scenario, ETs did apparently allow us to arm the planet. We have tens of thousands of nuclear missiles ready. ETs did allow us to pump an untold amount of pollutants into our atmosphere and water and land. ETs could have, it they wanted to, design specific ways --genetic, biological, technical-- to just kill all us humans off.

We can almost do that now, ourselves.

So I’ve come to believe there is some very benign action taken on our behalf by ETs. But my worry is, given that they interfere when they believe they have no choice, what exactly does that interference mean to humans? And how often will that include lethal action?

This line of questioning seems to upset the spiritual or psychic contactees among the diverse ufology community. I’ve asked it a few times.

I keep asking how do the contactees and spiritual-mystical ufology folks know that the ETs are not manipulating what contactees and psychics channel or ‘receive’ by, well, lying to them?

So in the final analysis, I wouldn’t bet the future of my grandchildren on their psychic connections to ETs piloting UFOs.

Something on the other side is not so nice, and until I find out who that is, exactly, all bets are off.

Bonfire Of The Vanities, UFO Style

In SUPPORT of MY FRIEND, Courageous, US NASA ASTRONAUT, Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14!
I, Clark C. McClelland, former ScO, Space Shuttle Fleet, personally observed an 8 to 9 foot tall ET on his 27 inch video monitors while on duty in the Kennedy Space Center, Launch Control Center (LCC). The ET was standing upright in the Space Shuttle Payload Bay having a discussion with TWO tethered US NASA Astronauts! I also observed on my monitors, the spacecraft of the ET as it was in a stabilized, safe orbit to the rear of the Space Shuttle main engine pods. I observed this incident for about one minute and seven seconds. Plenty of time to memorize all that I was observing. IT WAS AN ET and Alien Star Ship!

I now have three completely independent examples of individuals whom I trust reporting to me that individuals they trust have admitted to handling alien materials in "our" possession in the course of secret official duties.

We all knew it would happen.

At least some of us who’ve been around Ufology for a while knew it was inevitable: even bloggers who claim membership in our diverse community would snipe at Dr. Edgar Mitchell.

Because of the coverage he received, they got envious, and so they couldn’t restrain themselves, they rushed to marginalize his statements. They even insinuated Dr. Mitchell was lying.

Remember, while many of these negative bloggers seem to pack the integrity of a card-carrying Bushee, Edgar Mitchell’s integrity has never been questioned by NASA, or anyone else of merit. Mitchell has demonstrated over the decades his integrity and intelligence --showing more of both than all these blogging jackals put together.

Why do UFO researchers and bloggers --who both think there is something significant in UFO phenomenon-- rush to marginalize the statement of an authentic American hero like Dr. Edgar Mitchell?

Because they are jealous. And because they’re the psychological type who must be right. And so they lower themselves, and our entire community, by using the same tactics as debunkers. For instance: I’ve never in my 45 years around the UFO phenomenon read any debunker ever apologize to a UFO witness for any statement they have made which turned out to be wrong. Never! And that profile is a statement of truth unto itself.

And it looks from here like several claimed pro-Ufology bloggers owe one of our great American heroes and greatest astronauts an unconditional apology.

Let’s read some of the maneuverings now happening on the dark side:
“The second point is Mitchell’s history. He has long been an advocate for what can be called at best fringe science, starting with his tests of psychic powers on that same lunar flight. That’s fine, in fact I support things like that, if done rigorously… but clearly in my opinion he goes way too far. Government coverups of actual aliens? Really? Where’s the proof of that? The evidence is always circumstantial, and that makes me suspicious indeed. We have governments that cannot coverup a simple break in, a tryst in the White House, or trade deals between Iran and the contras. Those are cakewalks compared to the massive conspiracy theorized by the UFO crowd.
No, my point is that I don’t really see why this is suddenly news. He’s been talking fringe science for decades…

So I want to be very clear here: I have enormous, deep, and profound respect for all the men who walked on the Moon, and all the men and women who put them there. But that does not give them a pass to ignore evidence and to draw drastically unrealistic conclusions without evidence to support them.”

Phil Plaitt attacks Dr. Mitchell, then tells him how much he respects him. Now there’s a well-known PR campaign tactic: turn an apparent positive into an absolute negative by speaking with forked tongue.

How many roads does Edgar Mitchell have to walk down before you respect his word, Phil? Apologies to Dylan, by the way.

Here’s another blogger, Ian Brockwell, who ‘respects’ Dr. Mitchell. I think?
One of the most popular reasons why some people give interviews ( Dr. Mitchell) and "reveal" information that is designed to attract serious attention, is to promote something (usually a book). So I did a quick search to see if Dr. Mitchell had written any books recently.Mitchell has written two books, the last one in 1996 called "The Way of the Explorer". However, a revised edition of this was released this year and he has been giving a number of interviews just lately.He obviously understands the need to promote books (all authors do) and he gave a lecture at the Roswell 2004 lecture to do just that. Presumably the 1996 version of his book required a little help in getting noticed if it still needed promoting 8 years later? And now we have a revised edition of the same book, which obviously will also require some additional publicity.

Ian Brockwell, thanks for respecting Dr. Mitchell…I think?

Or it may be they’ve sold out only to the attention value of the subject matter at hand.

Many people I’ve met have had grand intelligence, but not a bit of common sense. Some of these zero-common sense brainiacs who’re also science professionals I’ve come to call The Robot People. It’s important we recognize them, know them for what they are, because The Robot People never see the human part of anything.

The ‘Bot People consistently fail one kind of IQ test, though. The Bots Who Blog Among Us still don’t get that if you have failed to develop your Emotional IQ, i.e., a baseline awareness of the presenting emotional challenges of the people right there in front of you, and a bit of respect for the courage it takes UFO witnesses and serious researchers to come forward, you are not really working the human side of the street.

And from the science and media sides of the street, if you’ve failed to account for the Emotional IQ --the fully human aspect of research-- you’re just not getting the whole story.

Debunkers say there is no evidence unless you can measure it.

But how can you measure something that is more intelligent than you and doesn’t want to be measured?

How can you measure something which is likely of profound national security, wrapped up in secrets and hidden away?

Dr. Mitchell clearly indicates in his phraseology that he does not want to break his oath.
Hey, I’m no rocket scientist, but I can read that.

And Dr. Mitchell never names the individuals directly or the committees or the direct sources. He never includes NASA. He carefully, honorably skirts breaking his official military-US Government oath, while I believe, he is keeping a higher order of oath.

Dr. Mitchell --unlike the Bot People-- is keeping an oath of faith, trust, and loyalty to the Human Race.

We’ve got massive amounts of evidence coming out. We’ve got the government cooperating with MUFON. MUFON requested and received the radar tapes from the Stephenville, Texas case. MUFON’s evidentiary conclusion: Large UFOs 300 to 500 feet across, traveling 2000 mph… exactly where the good witnesses reported they spotted them.

Am I crazy, but do any of you remember the bloggers --the ones who’re supposed to be on our side-- quickly trying to demolish or diminish the Stephenville witness testimony? In the very beginning of Stephenville, snide remarks, star charts and such were rampant in the ufology blogosphere. Witnesses hardly finished telling their stories before attacks began on several claimed pro-ufology blogs!

I know there are debunkers who make a living from this. I get it.

But what are these others trying to do? It’s one thing to keep it honest and add a healthy dose of dissent. It’s another thing entirely to kill the messenger over and over again, especially when the messenger has demonstrated a lifetime of integrity.

Roswell proved that for these I AM SO RIGHT kind of people, and for the Bot People, multiple witnesses, even deathbed confessions are not enough.

American hero astronaut Edgar Mitchell proves that a life lived with integrity delivers a powerful dimension of believability to witness testimony --so much believability, that professional debunkers, the just plain envious, and the Bots Who Blog Among Us forget themselves, and in their rabid rush to publish, fail to use logic, and risk revealing bad arguments, low-level thought, and a Bonfire of the Vanities-style silliness that probably, in the long view, will turn out to be tragic for us all.
