A little baloney with your swiss? by jc

Human nature never ceases to amaze me.

The person who recieved and investagated this story was Peter Davenport, well repected in the UFO field. He can defend himself better then I. His site "National UFO Reporting Center"is for reporting UFOs:
http://www.ufocenter.com/

I want to thank "The Anomalist "for listing my blog . Excellent site for the latest information on various phenomonon topics:

This is "UFO Media Matters" reply to the numbered questions poised by the writer of “The O’Hare “Swiss Cheese”UFO Sighting"
http://xzonenation.blogspot.com/2007/01/ohare-swiss-cheese-ufo-sighting.html

[X zone
1. FAA reports no unknown traffic on radar.]

[UFOMM]
Yea they do miss things sometimes
.

[X zone
2.The only people in who witnessed this event were the 12 United Airlines employees;]

[UFOMM]
Even in goups UFO witnesses can be intimidated. I wonder why?

[X zone]
3. No one else in this very busy airport witnessed this event.]

[UFOMM]
How in the hell could you know that?

[Xzone
4.United Airlines claim that they have no reports on this incident.]

[UFOMM]
We can take solace in the fact that the airlines always tell the truth.

[Xzone
5. No private pilots reported the sighting over O’Hare or in O’Hare airspace.]

[UFOMM]
Well, if you were flying in, they would have to be able to see through the cloud cover.

[Xzone]
[ 6. No photographs or amateur video have surfaced of this alleged object which remained in the skies over the 2nd busiest airport in the US for 2 - 18 minutes when people at airports always have cameras and the majority of cell phones have built-in cameras.]

[UFOMM]
You can’t use security on one side and not on the other. At Kennedy I was told to put a camera away “immediately” --or they would take it.

[Xzone]
[7. No other aircraft crew or passengers aboard any other flight on the tarmac, taking off, landing or on approach to O’Hare, reported seeing this object;]

[UFOMM]
True; So 12 is not enough?

[Xzone]
8. O’Hare is surrounded by busy airport access routes and no other reports were made from the ground about this object.

[UFOMM]
People just love coming forward about this, after years of smirks and jokes in the media. Pilots just love having their careers destroyed. A Japanese pilot was grounded for simply reporting a UFO. This is on record. If nothing else it is understandable.

[Xzone]
9. The USAF did not scramble interceptors to investigate this unknown craft, which, in a post 9-11 world, does not make any sense.

[UFOMM]
It wouldn’t be the first time: not only were two commercial airliners followed by UFOs, they were sighted visually, and on three radar scopes. The case is well documented and the communication tapes between the pilot and the tower were made available. It went on for a specific period of time and the pilots were nervous. The Tower also had the objects. The Tower notified the local military airbase; still, no jets were scrambled. History Channels' [Black
Box UFOs]

[Xzone]
[10. No reports made to Homeland Security could be found.]

[UFOMM}
Try the "NoFly List?

[Xzone]
11. No reports to Chicago Police could be found.

[UFOMM}
Yeah, and in a similarly unrelated factoid, the price of eggs is over $2.50 this week.

[Xzone]
12. Canadian air traffic controllers did not report any unusual traffic.]

[UFOMM}
Funny, there were 20 stealth jets flying all around that airspace --just kidding. Seriously, repeat after me: if we have it, they could have it to.

[Xzone]
13. I would like to know if there are security cameras at the airport that would have [images of, sic] the area where the sighting was supposed to have taken place to view what the employees were doing at the time of the event --to see their reactions or to see if they just continued working as usual.

[UFOMM]
I think you have a really good idea. One for you.! Why don’t you sue under the Freedom of Information Act, like dozens upon dozens of UFO researchers regularly do? Oh by the way: to be fair, spend your own change as many of them do.

  1. The comments below were originally left on "The 'X' Zone Radio & TV Show" blog at:
    http://xzonenation.blogspot.com/2007/01/ohare-swiss-cheese-ufo-sighting.html
They remained up on the site for about 10 minutes before, Mr X.zone decided he could not tolerate any other viewpoints and yanked my post as well as one posted before me which as I recall simply stated "Wow you've really opened my eyes you should quit this blog and get a job as a real detective" which some could probably interepet as a bit sarcastic, but after readin Mr. X Zones level of careful analysis and reasoning, I too concur that he should seek other areas of employment, perhaps writing government speeches or any other area that does not require logic, reasoning or understanding.

Here then my original post to rebut Mr X. strange analysis of the Chicago Airport Ufo Sighting:

Nice to see a little objectivity for a change. Especially bringing Billy boy from Switzerland into the fray, really reeks of objectivity, if you know what I mean. First let me be upfront about this, are you stupid or just lacking in mental agility?

    1. The FAA tracks planes on radar using transponders on these planes, the transponders emit a unique beacon which identifies them. The radar used at airports would not in all liklihood pickup any object at the position the UFO was in, it was too close and obscured by ground clutter.

    2. The only people who witnessed it were United Airline Employees? How is this relevant. If the only one who sees a tree fall in the forest is a bear, does that mean the tree didn't fall?

3.No else etc. this is redundant and restates point 2.But BTW it is rather hard to look straight up in most airports as they have a new invention called a roof which blocks visible light. And lets face it if you're working around jet engines on the tarmac, your definitey more concerned with the noise and activity around you and the odd chance of getting sucked into a jet engine than spending your moments gazing skyward, it's serendiptous that these individuals saw what they did. Does that invalidate the data?

4.UA claims no reports, are you in a coma? Airlines never report UFO's. It would be like the government telling you drugs are okay and you should enjoy some today. Or the president saying I really screwed up in Iraq and I'm resigning. Words you'll never hear, don't bother listening for them.

    5. NO Private pilot reported this etc. - Pilots as a whole get way more grief than benefit from reporting this sort of thing, which kinda demotivates them from getting chatty about what they see. That said, those reporting the object said it was difficult to see clearly which may suggest it was using some sort of cloaking/stealth technology that may have made it 'invisible' from many angles. We've already made objects invisible to microwaves and radar and science thinks it can do the same for the visible spectrum, couldn't another more advanced culture have crossed this threshold?

    6. No Pixs - most folks loading planes aren't chatting on cel phones which you might notice if you ever look out of the plane window while they're loading cargo. The cameras are on the tourist who are in the airport or in the planes which both make it difficult to look upward as I may have mentioned before - also the object was said to be difficult to focus on as I have said before which means alot of people did not see it. You know what? We've had a comet in the sky that is one of the brightest objects in 50 years and I'll bet you haven't met anyone who's seen it, let alone taken pictures of it. I know I haven't.

7&8 Nobody else saw it. A variation on numbers 8,7,5,3 - you need to get more creative, this ain't a book report you need to pad to make it long enough to turn in for credit.

Why don't you in your infinite wisdom explain why these UA employees decided to make up this story? What are they getting out of this? A guaranteed pension? No wage cuts? It ain't like these folks have a secret agenda - like the spy agencies which use UFO sightings, or the defense department and it's black ops and black projects at Groom Lake aka area 51. So tell me why did they make up this story? If you can't answer that and you can't ask better question, perhaps you should take up debunking the talking mice I have noticed on the Disney Channel. How can a rodent talk? Yet I saw it, I'm baffled I better start a blog. You were right there is something cheesy out there, I think it's your blog.

Unlike you I beleive in UFO's. I know there are flying objects that are not identified - they exist - the question is are they of terrestrial or extraterrestrial origin?

  2. I am surprised that research provided by the X-zone is so poor and shoddy. This is so sad. Especially with resources that are there beyond the NUFORC. I suggest that before you invent holes in the story you watch this video:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5488895546832717747&q=Ohare+UFO

It is uncensored talk that did not make it on the news.

There were photos taken the government did stonewall and it is obvious that your opinions about this story have already been made up and it is too bad that your coverage of this is horribly flawed.

It is comical to see the reaction and conversation off camera. Are you actually believingthe BS that the news sends you? The reporter was basically having an orgasm off camera and then became "Business as usual when the camereas were rolling."

A UFO was sighted. It became an IFO and was dismissed because of what it truly was. Alien or not it most certainly made someone in a high place uncomfortable.

  3. Dear Provident 360,
Great explaination it explaines everything. However the probelm is based on faith so nothing has to be proved or disproved. I don't personally believe in any religion so I don't have that faith. There are many single reason explanations for UFOs none of them as real as the ET explanaion.

There is one thing I know for sure, we are here on a planet. Life on planets are a fact. At least one intelligent species has traveled in space. Space travel is a fact. Intelligent life(sometimes at least) is a fact. Nature is here and changing this a fact.

So it is very possible that ET may exist and travel in space and have their own God or even the True God. I believe our differentintepratation of God through religion has been less then successful on our world.

    Thank You
