UFOs: A New Year And Renewed Hope

Dedicated To Glenn Dennis & Miriam Bush

And the Dumbest Debunker Of The Year Award goes to:
Burien Dunning, for his article “Betty And Barney Hill The Original Abduction”, complete with outright lies and distortions. Dunning has done it. I quote:
“Innumerable books(3) and movies(1)have been made about the Betty and Barney Hill abduction, you almost never hear a critical treatment of the them”.
You’re a funny guy, Brainless Brian.
Sometimes debunkers’ statements are so full of c**p no response is really necessary.
Thanks to Stan Friedman, for his Dec. 2008 article in MUFON Journal.

I just read a wonderful article by Anthony Bragalia, which turns out to be a great detective story about famous Roswell witnesses:
http://ufor.blogspot.com/2008/12/roswell-undertakers-secret-revealed-by.htmlabout

Glenn Dennis, former Roswell mortician, was a primary witness to the Roswell crash ET connection. Decades ago, Glenn Dennis related to ufologist Stan Friedman how he was called by Roswell Airbase.

Military officials at Roswell questioned Dennis about child-sized coffins and other odd things. Later that night, they called him back to the base. Not unusual, since he was at times requested by officials at the base to do mortuary service and even pick up injured soldiers.

That night, Dennis was told to pick up a wounded soldier and deliver him to the base hospital. As he drops the soldier off, Dennis wanders inside the hospital and runs into a friend, a nurse. The nurse tells Dennis to get the hell out of there. Then he’s immediately escorted to his car by the military.

Next day, Dennis gets together socially with the nurse, who is very frightened and upset as she describes being in a surgery room with small entities that look child-sized, but have large heads and eyes that are not right. The nurse tells Davis she realized these are beings from outer space.

If you haven’t kept up with the many Roswell controversies, Glenn Dennis fell out of grace when relating what happened when he spoke about the nurse witness’ extraordinary story. The nurse that Dennis went on record about was identified by a phony name, and so was the doctor. Of course Dennis’ use of phony names was found out.

Later, as Dennis tried to explain to ufologists how he promised to keep the nurse’s identity secret --which of course meant keeping the supervising doctor’s identity secret, too-- he was chastised for the worst crime a UFO witness can make: being human.
Glenn Dennis changed his story over the years and was condemned to UFO witness hell because of it. He certainly muddled the waters. As if clear waters would stop the debunkers from attacking every witness in sight.

Yes, Glenn Dennis, prime Roswell witness, was caught in a lie; but it now seems we can conclude it was a point of honor, his lie. Davis was acting out of true friendship. And I wonder if it wasn’t something more.

Researcher Anthony Bragalia found two candidates for Dennis’ friend the nurse. Bragalia’s article also underscores the need for further investigation --before they all die.

I read more about this incredible story in Witness to Roswell: Unmasking the 60-Year Cover-Up, by Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt; New Page Books, 2007. But I never made the connection.

These witnesses are the very people the debunkers don’t want to talk about. The people whose lives were shattered by an event they never forgot. The nurse’s name was Miriam Bush.

Miriam Bush shared the whole story with her immediate family. It seemed she had no other choice because her emotions overwhelmed her.

Sobbing and breaking down, she related how her boss (not a medical doctor), for no reason she could fathom took her into a surgery room, telling her “you’ve got see this”. Nurse Bush would come to resent what her boss had done. She thought the beings she saw in the surgery room were children at first. They had large heads, and their eyes were funny. Then suddenly, she knew.

It’s the type of detail you never forget, the detail that convinces you. The world can tell you you don’t know what you really saw. But nurses, like physicians, paramedicals and combat-hardened military, have seen all kinds of terrible things that can go wrong with the human body. Nurse Miriam Bush knew she was seeing something far outside the range of injury or medical anomaly. She realized she was living a horror story, separated from the entire world by her terrifying experience. After telling the whole story to her family, within the year she married and moved. She started to drink. After the divorce, she drank heavily. Then, the same year Glenn Dennis made his announcements about the strange things he experienced at Roswell, Miriam committed suicide.

Miriam Bush had no one to go to. There were no UFO researchers, no support groups, no UFO conferences. No one to understand. We get a tragic story from her family, about a woman who came face to face with a reality she couldn’t fathom. That experience and its meaning shattered her core.

It’s impossible for us to imagine how it was before Stevenville, before YouTube and all the hundreds of Amazon-ranked UFO books. Just mentioning UFOs back in Miriam Bush’s day could mean you were branded an eccentric for life, but it could also mean involuntary commitment to a mental hospital.

Back to The Mortician of Roswell. Now many of us, including me, have no trouble thinking about the funeral director as the worst type of sleazebag, ready to take advantage of the grief-stricken at their most vulnerable. But this doesn’t fit Glenn Dennis. The people of Roswell liked and trusted him. How’d I arrive at that conclusion? If Glenn Dennis weren’t highly regarded by the people in his small town, where especially back in the day, everyone knew everybody else’s personal business, such negative information would’ve been broadcast loud and clear by both the Roswell community and the debunkers.

I guess what makes me so passionate about these witnesses is how much more meaning Roswell gave to their personal lives –even in ways that were terribly costly. Nurse Miriam Bush didn’t just turn into a hard-partying alcoholic; what she saw and what it meant transformed her, compelled her to leave friends and family, and drove her to drink, to divorce, and then heavier drinking. She was alone through the worst of it. Glenn Dennis had a young bride of his own when he told his story to Stan Friedman [as explained in Anthony’s post]. Miriam Bush was a nice looking woman back in the day, and I had to wonder if there may have been a connection. Maybe even a love that couldn’t be.

Did Glenn Dennis decide he would rather be called a liar than break his promise to the woman he wanted to protect?
An Interview With Glenn Dennis:

My resolution for the year is to never forget that to serve is to truly live.

This is cool, as my grandson would say, and coincidently as we said in the sixties:http://www.inexplicata.blip.tv/#1619830

I just wrote MUFON and suggested they do the same thing.

Happy New Year To All. And To The Entities Out There: We’re Waiting.

Semi-Disclosure vs Slow Contact

...and I heard him exclaim as he road out of sight Merry Christmas to all and....What the hell is that thing!

What would you do if you were the US Government and you knew there was DEFINITELY, UNAVOIDABLY going to be ET contact?

Here you are, hip deep in all kinds of horrible covert actions and costly disinformation campaigns to keep ET contact a secret…and you and your crew of the State Department and Military Secret Keepers know the secret will soon be out anyway. Or, how about another possibility: you’re a career US Government official in charge of ET Disclosure, and you find that after sixty years, UFOs are all over the place again. But this time, as in the present UFO flap, there’s one big difference: the internet and the reality of massive public pressure via instant grassroots global communications on the desktop --Like YouTube.

If I were those Government guys, I would do exactly what France and the UK have done…SEMI-DISCLOSURE to the rescue!

It’s perfect, isn’t it? By releasing “all” (nudge, nudge) UFO documents, even very sensational ones, you, Mr./Ms. Enlightened Government Official must show the people that all along, you’ve been diligently checking up on the threats of UFOs, but you have always been careful not to cause mass hysteria. The official spin you’re going for is something like:
In the end, our Big Brother Governments were just doing their jobs, folks!

How many people in the UFO field today are talking about France hiding the truth about UFOs? Not many. That’s why Semi-Disclosure works.

So, washing your governmental hands by classifying documents “Of no security significance” has been good policy, therefore metaphorically declaring “SEE!!!!!!!!! We have nothing to hide!”

It does the job. And that kind of operation also opens the door to further ultimate disclosure.

Or does anyone think that maybe France is still hoodwinking us, too? The French government pulled a good one, threw ufologists a lot of bones with their COMETA committee reports stating that UFOs “may be ET in origin…” And many in the UFO community drooled.

So how many UFO reports are coming out of France now? Have you heard any?

Right now we have blog after blog reporting on what was released by the UK. We might even say that UK government officials are no longer hostile to the ET idea.

We now have a well respected UFO researcher and insider, Nick Pope, saying basically (and I am paraphrasing here) yes, there are UFO’s, but….no, the UK has not been hiding ETs.

This works for a large percentage of people, even inside our community, especially the overly conspiraphobic nuts-and-bolts UFO faction.

There may be even more shocking releases by the UK, but nothing too embarrassing to the British government.

We may send a million faxes and emails basically accusing the government in the biggest cover-ups of all time, but I bet the most we get out of it is Semi-Disclosure.

The government and scientific dogmatists have, for the most part, controlled the level of importance the media assigns to UFOs. That kind of control --the management of institutional editorial policy-- is a powerful message in itself.

If you don’t buy that, then take a good, hard look at UFO in the media over the last 60 years. Yes, the internet is starting to change that. The UFO message is starting to be heard. Debunkers are having their toes fried publicly --right away-- instead of waiting months or years for publication in traditional print magazines and newsletters and annual UFO conventions.

This speeding up of media exposure and debate also gives a very powerful boost to the message that UFOs are real and the people who see them are real.

Add to all that, the enormous amount of sightings world-wide now, and you have a real possibility of the USA releasing it’s Top Secret (yet truly not-so-secret) documents after the election.

I’ve always believed our government was right in keeping the lid on UFO disclosure if they did not know these entities’ real intentions.

If you were that US Government official in charge, what would Semi-Disclosure mean? What would you tell everyone?
1.There is something here that is not human.
2.They may be from a local planet or another star system.
3.We don’t know what they are doing.
4.We don’t know why they are here.
5.Their technology is beyond anything we have.

I think the US Government came to a conclusion that though this phenomenon was not an invasion, there were still very troubling reports of dangerous repercussions of Contact, like abductions and mutilations of humans and animals.

What does this have to do with Slow Contact?

Something has changed and we all know it. It may not be an accident that UFO sightings are escalating beyond anything I have experienced before, and I’ve been around the Internet for a long time.

Whether people are ready to understand this or not, ongoing Contact has been made at Trout Lake, Gilliland Ranch. We have continuing, predictable, public displays by UFOs.

Maybe we need to understand contact will occur in increments using a conditioning method, exactly like what has been happening for years now at Gilliland Ranch. It’s what I call Slow Contact. A TV program recently decided to go on location and film the UFO flyovers there. It seems the Gilliland Ranch UFOs were not shy about appearing on TV.

This is the first time a public demonstration of this phenomenon can be seen. Not by accident, but on purpose. Many different groups including skeptics, have seen the UFOs.

Could it be that ETs are summoning us to contact in small groups first? I ask you, is this the first time in the history of UFOs that almost everyone that visits a UFO hotspot is coming away with sightings and the same conclusion –that UFOs are real and other so-called paranormal phenomenon are also to be seen? There is also a strange Sasquatch creature at Gilliland. This is right in line with the other reports on the other two ranches known as UFO hotspots.

With the witness reports we have right now, we must accept once and for all the connection UFO craft have with the paranormal and crypto animals.

So, could it be the ETs wish to contact us first and in small groups?

And why not us? Take a look at this and video think back to the other examples of UFO-rich sighting places where contact was made but limited. In those instances there was hostility between the two species, clearly an us vs them situation.

But the happenings at Gilliland Ranch are different. At Gilliland, contact seems to be a polite introduction, and over the years, no humans, animals, or property have been harmed.

If what I and others suspect is true, we are going through a strong conditioning until final disclosure.

If what many in the UFO community suspect is true, the coming summer should bring sightings impossible to explain away. Sightings of such scope would be followed by powerful public reports.

I suspect other types of public displays and sightings at the UFO Ranch will continue, maybe even escalate…till knowledge of their presence is widely recognized.

Then they will land.

UFO Hatred

[After this post, some Ghost Tour Pictures from my vacation. You be the judge.]

"You’ve been with the professors and they all like your looks…with great lawyers you have discussed leopards and crooks…you’ve been through all of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s books…you’re very well read… it’s well known…but something is happening here and you don’t know what it is…do you, Mr. Jones…” Bob Dylan

This post is dedicated to all UFO witnesses who’ve endured hostility, hatred, and who’ve been constantly minimized, dismissed and scrutinized, regardless of education, status, or impeccability of character.

When I was a younger man I remember a book "Letters from Christians" by Madelyn Murray O'Hair. Atheists and Fundamentalists of all persuasions are tedious because they know all the answers. But I had to agree with the late Ms. O’Hair on the subject of this book. If you don’t know, she was she the American who stopped required school prayer, taking the case all the way to the Supreme Court. Don’t get me wrong: I believe in a Creator. But I’ve come to believe God loves diversity and atheists. Why do I bring this famous case and less famous book up? Well, what struck me about the book was the amount of hatred written in letters to her by “Christians” who are supposed to show love where there is persecution, real or imagined, and compassion to all, regardless.

It surprises me how many “Christian” letter writers, on religious grounds, spew all types of hatred when any of their beliefs are questioned. So it seems to me there’s more afoot here than just defending their personal belief in Christ.

And the same goes for this outright hatred of UFO witnesses and researchers. To be fair, I’m just as surprised at the displays of outright hatred of those who are religious by those who are not.

When I started my YouTube channel as an adjunct to UFO MEDIA MATTERS, I was not surprised at the hatred that spewed forth. Most of it in the name of protecting those I would somehow pollute with my “lies”.

Here’s a sample of the anger and fear UFO witnesses and truth advocates put up with; and note the racist overtones that follow presentation of UFO videos from Mexico.

1.“this is why mexicans arn't allowed in space, Please go make children with the chupacabra.”

2. “Joe Crap, you're the idiot. OBVIOUSLY this is a string of balloons. I can't even understand how you could go as far as to call this unidentified red string a living entity. The name Space Serpents obviously comes from that movie Secret Space, which if you spent more than 10 seconds watching it you would know it's a lie. We all know there's no such thing as red spasticated balloon like creatures living in our atmosphere…”

3. “ It is called [an] AIRSHIP and a low quality piece of crap CAMERA. Seriously people, you are nuts!”

4. “GET A JOB JAIME!!!!!!!”

5. “he talks like Ricky Ricardo,LOL!!”

6. “That mexican guy is full of crap. He is hoaxing the shit out of people in order to make some money. He has a ton of videos of different aliens and ufo's and what not.. So while all of us spend a life time trying to find even ONE ufo, this guy videotapes one every day or something…”

Warning Graphic:
7. “It is just a bunch of red balloons tied together, moving in the wind. It isn't an aztek god descending to earth or an UFO. You can believe it is god's pen*s if you turbo gay and wish really hard for it to be true. The whole thing still stays just a bunch of balloons.”

8. Give me a break...What are the odds some other life form was able to evolve into an intelligent species...what are there Billions of stars? within in Billions of Galaxies? in an infinite, multi-dimensional Universe...we are alone...statistically there is only a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999102% chance that other species are visiting us

To all the people who called Jaimie Maussan names, I simply recommend you discard your racism, then read his resume here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaime_Maussan

I believe God likes a good joke, and I like a good fight. So I thought readers might enjoy some of my answers.

1. “You name yourself fa*t face and i'm a dumbass. I think you need to look closely at the numerous objects in this video before you make pronouncements like that. Take a close look the original you will see more than one type of object so "airship" what ever that means doesn't do it”

I’ve also addressed honest questions myself.

1. “It was a fade out --not sinister-- but I get your point. I will ask him. Would everyone take a look at Jaime Maussan at Wikipedia. [It’s] one thing to say the man sometimes could be set up (the subject matter lends itself to this), but another to call him these horrible names. [Maussan] said one time that the minute he started doing this subject these horrible attacks began, so I ask those who are [fair-minded] to read his credentials and to look at [Maussan’s] research as a whole.
DVD - Paul Hellyer Former Defence Minister Of Canada Fields Question On His Knowledge of Roswell.

Recently I myself was labeled “obsessed” with Roswell. But I feel those brave Roswell witnesses, whether they came forward in their prime or honored secrecy oaths and waited until death was imminent, each one of them was forced to experience exactly this type of hatred we have read about or experience ourselves.

The controversy that is Roswell shouldn’t die until the truth comes out. The Witnesses deserve nothing less.
