The Day After Stephenville

They asked Saint Francis how much he prayed to keep his lovely gardens so beautiful. He answered, holding up a spade, “Yes, I do a great deal of praying, but also a great deal of work with this”.

Many blogs --UFO Media Matters-- reported on the Stephenville, Texas UFO case. The case that had UFOs and fighter jets screaming through the skies less than 70 miles from the Bush Ranch within one of the world’s most tightly secured air spaces. Skeptical bloggers did their analysis of Stephenville, and as usual, were very selective in both their evidence and the witnesses they profiled. The RRR skeptic group uses the same idiotic reasoning as the late High Priest of Professional Skeptics, trotting out a Phillip Klassless explanation. The RRRs called the widely witnessed, widely reported Stephenville case “a group of stars in the sky that exactly mach up to”…one particular witness testimony.

After everyone has said their piece and after the limelight has disappeared as it must, after all of the pot shots have been taken, and no matter whether the true believers or the professional skeptics seem to have the high ground, that’s when the job really starts. Yes, the usually unthankful and less glorious real work on UFOS is done quietly and smoothly.

No, it is not Paul Kimball, or The RRR group –or Colin Bennett-- who in UFO Magizine compared these volunteer researchers to “locust clouds of lower class, middle class professionals”.

The reader probably does not know their names, these locust clouds of so-called low class researchers. But I don’t think they care about fame that much. These MUFON volunteers don’t do it for the book deals or the DVD sales. They do it because they believe. They do it because no one else will do it. And they do it for free because there is no money anyway.

The Mutual UFO Network will ask field-seasoned men and women, all volunteers, to take incredibly detailed reports on mass UFO sightings. The volunteers of MUFON come from all walks of life. Retired police officers, retired military, and scientists make up a significant part of the MUFON field research effort. And there are plenty of civilians with powerful resumes, including engineers and others with technical backgrounds in every discipline. These volunteers with experience and credentials go out in the field and do the legwork. They ask questions and then they ask more questions. And listen, and take incredibly detailed notes.

What do they get? A nod maybe…

DVD: A UFO Witness does the research himself.

But MUFON knows from history you can’t count on positive outcome over the long run unless you do the legwork. So you could say, MUFON IS NOT A FAST FOOD UFO GROUP. MUFON members and officials don’t speak in absolutes because they honestly don’t know where UFOs are from… absolutely. For MUFON, the answer is simple: you do the legwork anyway, no matter what people say.

Let’s do something different, and give credit where credit is due --to the MUFON grunts who do that legwork. Let’s sneak a look over the collective shoulder of the MUFON investigative teams, and see what really happens the day after Stephenville:

MUFON Journal, February 2008

“MUFON took over 50 citizens’ calls from witnesses, and…the credibility and the number were exceptional…”

Stephenville TX Jan 19th
Place: Meeting set up by the Rotary Club For UFO Witnesses

MUFON Team:
Ken Cherry State Director; Steve Hudgeons of Fort Worth, Senior Investigator for Texas; plus five additional trained investigators went to the meeting.

“[MUFON] did not expect the 200-500 people who attended… people who packed the Rotary building --whatever the number-- it was more witnesses in one place than MUFON ever interviewed…some told of previous experiences…[as far back as] in 1957…”

“Several dozen [Stephenville area] observers [of the January 8 event] claim to have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast in the skies…some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.”

“Over the next couple of months MUFON investigators plan to process the information they have compiled, follow up with some of the witnesses and produce a report.”

Yes, this is how it is done. Not with a metaphoric slide rule, while sitting on your fat ass at a desktop deciding what is truth, from whichever side of the aisle you claim. It is not done with theories, or pontificating. And it’s not finished until the whole story is complete.

No matter what the pontificators of The Secret might imply, it is not just through the spirit… when truth is sought, it is through the hard, long, probably unthankful, less glorious work, where the spirits will is usually carried out.

Those Who Protect…

Dedicated to Police Officers Dale Spaur & William Neff Of Portage Ohio.

In a previous post a "When Venus Turned Out To Be A UFO"I wrote about how two Ohio police officers in a famous historical UFO case were set up by a secret government operation which also hid pertinent evidence from Project Bluebook. Both officers lost their careers. This is not fiction or a hoax, since the original evidence is part of the original case files. That impressive evidence --including transcripts of taped interviews with these sworn officers of police and sheriff’s departments-- delivered complete with affadavits, were almost destroyed, except for a a serving assistant deputy sheriff Michael M. Nelson, who took the files home and searched through them in 2006. .

Here in America, we see the same attacks repeated decade after decade by the skeptics. If a police officer sees a UFO at night, the skeptics find any sequence of stars or planets in that area of the sky, then proclaim that is what the police officers must be seeing. Even UFO researchers will jump aboard this same old ‘Must Be A Planet’ wagon. And what’s that, but a government hoax?

But in the Portage, Ohio case, we now find after 50 years, that even though Venus was in the same part of the sky as the “supposed UFO”, what the cops chased was, in fact, a real UFO… NOT VENUS!

The government not only knew this fact, they played the skeptics… who immediately, in locked step, echoed the government’s position that Venus was The Only Explanation.

What about the police officers’ careers and reputation? The UFO researchers went home, Project Bluebook went home, and those Police Offers had to deal with the rest of their lives.

“But in the long run good always wins out.” Ghandi

In the UK, serving Detective Constable GARY HESELTINE knows why police officers who have encounters with UFOs will not report them: “The media present the subject with a degree of ridicule --this is a total misrepresentation of the KNOWN FACTS about UFOs.”

He understands the ridicule and career losses officers would suffer if they report a sighting. He also understands the significance of their experience, so as in all great new endeavors --whether recognized or not-- the spirit moves the person and something is born in this case: PRUFOS (Police Reporting UFO Sightings).

So Detective Gary Heseltine simply gets on the phone and starts collecting those reports on his own time. Word gets out that he can be trusted. Police Officers who feel the need to report the profound experience to somebody, somewhere, report to him.

Now the data.

There has been a marked increase --39%-- in the police reports to PRUFOS last year. The increase coincides with the increase in observation in the UK in 2007.

One hundred and thirty-five constables (police officers) reported sightings of UFOs in 2007. These are officers who have their own sightings, remember, not citizen sightings only reported to them, but sightings of their own.

Here is some of the breakdown direct from the UK resource:
Of the 44 cases
4 Close Encounter of the 1st Kind.5 are Daylight Discs35 are Nocturnal Light
6 involve sightings with high multiple officer corroboration.14 involve multiple UFOs
One of the cases posted:
2153-2157 hours. 15/09/2007. Yeovil, Somerset. An off-duty sighting by Special Constable PC STEPHEN MAINS. Having gone outside his home to have a cigarette he noticed a bright orange object moving slowly across the sky to the east. As it did so he then saw that there were two other orange lights that appeared to be moving in formation nearby. All three objects then passed directly over his home at which point the officer called his wife to observe the objects who corroborated the sighting. UFO CLASSIFICATION – NL (NOCTURNAL LIGHT). Off Duty sighting. 1 Officer. Source: The PRUFOS Police Database.

Below we have just a few of the amazing UFO close encounters by police officers --some with multiple witnesses. Before we begin, remember the number one factor in becoming a good police officer is observation. So the argument the skeptics put forth “yeah, police officers are trained but they make mistakes” just doesn’t wash when you weigh the evidence.

These guys’ and gals’ whole career depends on observation. Can a police officer make a mistake in a flash observation? Yes, but how about long-term observations with other people who report the same thing? Or even observations in broad daylight? How about landings?

Whether we’re talking about a street cop, detective, or undercover detail team, if you’re a cop without critical observation skills, you can die. The number one factor in staying alive as a police officer is observation. So we can be sure when police are making UFO reports, they’re telling us what they really see. And what they’re telling is plenty: they’re not only reporting strange lights with strange behavior in the sky, they also are going on record that they clearly observe structured craft in the daytime…even landings.
Cops & UFOs From Alien Hunters Some Clips. Show started off rocky gut doing better. Warning Audio choppy.

Three Huntington Police Officers See Circular Flying Object:
"The object, seen from just north of the city Police Station, came out of the northwest to the steeple of a near by Catholic Church, then shot straight back north. It didn't make any noise, and it remained in their sight for less than a minute. But it was big described as the size of a hot air balloon or a backyard trampoline and low enough that one officer thought it was going to get hung up on the steeple of the church."

Artist’s illustration:

Dozens in Stephenville and Dublin, Texas report seeing large UFO:
Several dozen people — including a pilot, county constable and business owners — insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

25 witnesses observed a black oval shaped object:
And in a clear sky overhead and to the south was a black object in the oval shape of a rugby ball! It was not moving and stayed exactly where it was as we approached. It seemed to be about 2000 feet above the ground near our Central Park and about the size of a 747. Many people pulled off the highway to look at it, including 2 policemen. It did not move at all and was not a balloon or kite.
Police officer observes unknown craft:…from the witness: "I observed an aircraft, approx. 150-200ft above ground level and approx 300-500ft slant range from my location. It was rolling out of a right bank and the streetlights were illuminating it enough so that I could see a distinct silhouette of the fuselage and the underbelly. This object appeared to be the same color as the night sky, flat black or dark gray. There were no lights, no exhaust flames and no engine noise... just absolute silence!"

How many police who have witnessed a UFO will not talk about it?

The reason for police silence on UFO reporting can be connected directly to how the skeptics and the media treat UFO sightings and those who report them.

Damn You Ghost Hunters!

Dedicated to Regina, who was always her own person. Bye for now "mom".

A Joe Capp Joint:

Suddenly, for no apparent reason, I awoke. Something was at the foot of my bed.

When you get old it feels good to have a pillow between your knees, so I peeked over it. Something at the foot of the bed was glowing, and that something looked like a typical gray alien.

I sat bolt upright and looked at my wife, who was silent, asleep beside me. I shook her frantically, yelling “Get up! I want you to see this. Phyl, get up!”

“Ah… excuse me…ah, excuse me. That won’t work. I put her into… what you may loosely describe as…um, a sound sleep.”

I stopped in mid-shake and looked at the gray, thinking “Was that you in my head?”

“Yes, it’s me. We do that a lot out of habit. I will use my voice now. I want you to be aware of one thing, I am not a Human-Basher. I did not want to scare you in any way. Hence the…the…getup.”

Mind to voice is weird.

It stood there, glowing, spreading its stringbean arms wide.

“Getup?” I asked.

Then it pointed at my ceiling, and the light fixture flashed on. Next, the alien leaned into the light and kind of waved. In a friendly way.

At that point I realized I was going mad. Or maybe it was the Trickster Factor. Maybe all this UFO stuff finally tipped the balance. I looked again: the alien still had the facial features of Woody Allen…and it was wearing his glasses!

I looked incredulously at my wife, who was still sleeping.

“Don’t freak out!” It said. “I just wanted to look like someone you you’re not afraid of…You must know at this stage of your life, I didn’t have many choices. I thought of ah, a cat. But then you might try and pet me…and the thought of that…I almost threw up.”

I sat up on my knees and cupped my hands together. Closed my eyes tight. All I could do at that point was repeat these words: I believe in the Trickster, I believe in the Trickster I believe, I believe …

“Wizard Of Oz! Important metaphor for arrogance and the inability of your people to humble yourselves to what you already have. I loved the movie,” It said. “We gave Frank Baum the idea. Unaccredited, of course.”

Slowly I opened my eyes. It stood --or hovered-- there, still.

“Are you going to abduct me?” Soon as I said it, I felt ill.

“No, just your wife,” It replied.

My mind raced. I imagined doing battle with these aliens as they captured my wife, while I stood by, held helpless inside a blue paralyzing ray.

“Just kidding” it smiled.

“But that was a great scenario you played in your mind. Privately though,” the alien took a minute to poke its glasses back up the nubbin of its nearly non-existent nose, “looking at you, I…I would go for me. After all, I’m Woody Alien.”

“Alright, enough!” I shouted. “Whatever game you’re playing, I don’t care! If you think for one minute I’m putting this in my blog, you’re crazy. Trying to make me look nuts, huh? Discredit me?”

Now it spoke in a low voice, as though confidentially: “I wouldn’t, ah hum…worry about blogs ah, ah…anymore” But despite this attempt to seem suave, the alien was clearing its throat continuously.

“What did you say? What do you mean, not worry about blogs anymore?”

It looked at me for a second, then blinked, and somehow, said and thought at the same time: “Well, it just means there won’t be any blogs anymore. You see, I am here on my own initiative. To warn you. Personally.”

“Me?” was all I could manage.

“In a few hours from now, all electricity --including batteries on your world-- will die…And then it, ah, ah, gets worse.”

It looked at me. I looked at it. Hours seemed to pass…but it was only milliseconds. Then there was a kind of hiccup in my mind, or its mind, and it started talking again. But now it spoke with incredible speed, though continuing to clear its throat.

“I demanded of the Council…that the Humans ...”

The alien went silent for a second, as it paced back and forth, reminding me of a dead man walking.

Then it pointed its finger, but more to punctuate than to accuse “…I demanded that you Humans deserved to be fully informed of…what is about to…ah hum… happen… and why. So after I demanded this, they agreed…” Its voice trailed off. But started up again, while it paced, “…to two…ah hum…two conditions…”

It looked at me expecting something. I’m sure my mouth was still wide open.

“Condition One: That the reasons for this catastrophe be told to…someone in the UFO community -- after all, they were the only ones who really believed all along. I agreed with this. It was only…ah…fair, I mean, right?”

All I could do was stare.

“The second,” it went on, gliding into a stream of consciousness tone like cool jazz, “…was to select the most insignificant UFO aficionado I could find on the planet.”

“What? Me?” My jaw snapped when it finally hit me. I know this, because I bit my tongue. The ego… is the last thing to go. I thought.

“Well think of it this way: from now on, you, Joe Blogger, will be the first human to know the truth. Don’t you want to know Why?”

I have to admit, as much as I was in shock, and even though the whole world might be ending and even though there would be no more WEEDS, Ghost Hunters or The Wire, I still wanted to know.

“Let me put it bluntly. There are thousands of dimensions, your good dimensions, and your, ah, bad. We have a Contract governing all that, and it’s simple: No Touching.”

“No one wanted you ‘Earthlings’ ”. It threw it’s hands above it’s head and at that time…with the long fingers shaking back and forth… it did not look like Woody Allen. I closed my eyes.
“…to know about other dimensions- you kill everything that moves”. It had the Woody Allen desperation persona. “We do our damnedest not to let you know what it’s all about. That’s why ghosts keep running away; why you can never find conclusive proof If you’re in a primitive aggressive state, as some species are --killing anything that moves, you know what I mean—we’re not saying you do it intentionally…anything that just gets in the way - you move them over…but you can see how they think you don’t care…nothing unusual- just what happens

“Now the Committee, if that’s what you want to call them --and I usually call them the committed, for obvious reasons-- has deemed it necessary that no dimension can be attacked. With a single exception: open contact is permitted when a genuine threat is posed by another dimension’s inhabitants. And here, the Committee refers to a population of the violent, kill-what-you-need kind of species.”

“By the way you, know you’re classified as a violent race, right?”

What could I say? But then I thought of something.

“Wait! You guys “display yourselves” all over the place. Multiple contacts.. abductions…. Mutilations…over cities.

“So why would you do that if you need to be a secret?” My mind was coming back. I was up to the challenge.

“True, we are allowed to shake you up a little, especially when you pull your… species suicide bit. We the committee send messages to your government… “displays” “contacts” “confusion” - they know what we mean… (it coughed several times) at least we think so.
But we are a little weirded out with your… World Wars Bombing Everything era… and your Atomic (build thousands of) Bombs era...and your Continuing Destroying Your Environment era…and … need I say more.”

“Enough,..” I was getting tired. “So, you’re saying as long as didn’t know, we were safe?”

“Oh, of course not, as my uncle Melvin, use to say, don’t repeat what you believe, only what you know and then carry a big stick. ”

I was getting angry “What does that have to do with it?”

It hesitated for a minute. “I don’t know but it fit the character. Believing is one thing, but knowing it is real… like, you know, a “screwdriver” is real…that’s a different concept altogether. Once your species mindset has been changed to that level, plus you … “as a species” have the technological ability to go to these other species, and be a danger to those other species, they get paranoid …like Republicans.

“So Who decides?” I said this in a matter of fact tone.

“If a trial can prove conclusively with a preponderance of the evidence that the a species (you) in question kills everything that gets in it’s way….”

My denial kicked in right in the nick of time. “We only kill when….when …we need to”. I am such a wimp.

Your specie’s trial lasted 5 of your minutes…,” it said, dismissing my comment with a hard blink. “It was unanimous. But there are bright sides- Bush won’t be president anymore – and you’ll know what was in Chaney’s safe.

“Just tell me one thing…” I said, slowly. I looked directly at it. “who in the UFO field pushed our species over the line into this reality mindset you speak of?” I clenched my fist because I knew and yelled. “Damn you, Stan Friedman”

“Not a fat chance in hell…” It thought… Ghost Hunters” it said.

It put me back to sleep knowing the alarm clock would not wake me in the morning.

Conditioning: Contact Breaking Point Part 2

..When this officer reported to the hanger and saw the bodies, if was apparently too much for him and he lost it." Witness To Roswell" Cary & Schmitt

Exlcusive Video Below

When someone tells you open contact would be a shock but we’d get over it, ask them this: What would it really be like, to intermingle with an intelligent species who could read your mind, emotions and motives all the time?
Try this scenario yourself. You’re one of the ETs. You and your group have intentionally hidden on a planet, a many-cultured environment with an extremely curious and vast population. You know the natives are progressing technologically and hiding will become more and more difficult. When is a species able to handle the emotional impact of the gigantic step down as the primary intelligent species?
When is the native species deemed able to handle contact? Or, Mr./Ms. ET, maybe your rationale is forced to change, and your question changes. So, what happens when contact finally becomes a matter of what is practical, rather than your original, ideal plan? Does your ET squad regroup and land on the Town Square? The State Capitol? Do you show your presence in high security areas visible to thousands of live witnesses and inevitably captured with miniature video cameras owned by millions of the species, for possible broadcast planet-wide?
Or do you do expose the idea slowly, testing the reaction of the average member of that species, looking for variants, and pulling back from certain regions when you’ve determined the psychological profile --meaning the ego of the average native-- is not able to handle it?

I remember a skeptic presenting at February’s Earth Mysteries & UFO / ET Congress in New Jersey remarking, “I believed in the early days of the UFO phenomenon that they were indeed Aliens, but because they never landed, I came to realize they were not anything at all but misidentifications.”

And that’s the kind of thinking that makes you wonder if maybe the lack of intelligence is on our side.
South of our border, Mexico, Peru, and Brazil have all provided us with decades of evidence of mass sightings: videos, landings, photographs, witness testimony.

You, I mean we --speaking this time as the natives, that is-- would have to be blind not to see that something special is happening.
Even if you were to come to believe that half of all the years of video, photos, and the rest was faked, that would still leave you with thousands of video, trace cases, and photographs that can’t be explained. All that witness documentation from this hemisphere, alone.
So, is it possible a kind of open, mass conditioning is beginning here in America, as well?
Was O’Hare a punctuation mark?
Was Stephenville the writing on the wall? Are more massive sightings --like Phoenix-- ahead?
While we’re at it, better include the multi-contact cases with the ongoing video; some of them are faked, but some seem very real.Could witnesses experiencing these sightings really be so different than average people you meet on the street?
These public displays and contact seems to be directed at the AVERAGE person.
And there’s another factor that people in the multiple ufology interest communities don’t like to talk about: those who may have gone into the experience with an average or disturbed psychological profile, who emerged with additional emotional distress.
So we have to ask, who else would be most affected by sightings? Are ETs --or whoever these UFO incident generators are-- also testing the broader population for a particular sample, like those natives with emotional problems? After all, their responses are important; the population of psychologically distressed natives will ultimately be exposed to the non-native presence, too.

DVD
Here is an exclusive video, originally given to me with the promise I’d do some basic U-Tube prep work on it. I told the witness/donor I would use Premiere to zoom and try to apply some filters. Although I have put a clip up, this is the whole video from the original DVD. I think it’s real.

The person who gave me the material was showing this DVD informally --not as a scheduled presenter-- between speakers at a conference. Most attendees had already left the hall, and I was trying to talk to a speaker when the DVD caught my eye my eye on a TV screen.
I noticed this unscheduled guy was speaking to someone else, and just as he was leaving, we were able to talk. I had no idea he would never e-mail me. I put this video only up for its educational value.
The object was shot in the daytime and some of the video was spectacular indeed! The great part of it is, you can see this person it not skilled with the camcorder, but maybe this makes the Mystery Video even more credible. A bird flies right in front of the object, and you are stunned. Also, what appears to be a mother ship moves in and seems to pick up some light sources.

The owner of the DVD professed some ideas about himself that were odd. He told me he gets compulsions to make videos. Yet he seemed somewhat shattered by the UFO sightings. Was he struggling to find meaning in the sightings? That was the last time I saw or heard from him. I’ve e-mailed all over but received no indication of who he was only who he was not. If you’re reading this blog, Mystery Video Maker, please e-mail me.

Making public contact as the newcomer --or the stranger-- on the block is not as easy as the debunkers want you to believe.
A truly intelligent species would know a great deal about the psychology of the species they are contacting, and the mindset of that species would be of primary concern.
Testing reactions of a range of natives may be happening right now. And the psychology of the average native seems to matter to the strangers.
This program of conditioning, if that’s what’s going on, may likewise hint at the respect ETs give to other entities and, might even be an indication of non-hostile intent.
