Dear Christine,
Thank You, this is one of the post that is very dear to my heart. I met his wife who is just a wonderful women. What happened to McDonald is an example of how modern day science has it's own inquisitors.They do not look at the facts and when they are confronted with nothing more than a good scientist and his accurate mathematics on a subject they won't accept he or she will be delegated to the fire of absurdity and even death.
But these defenders of the faith never except blame for what they do. If you look at Edgar Michael Or Gordon Cooper you would hardly know they were American Heroes.
Thank you for reading this it makes it all worth while. Here is another post about a woman hero who was considered nonsense by the debunkers but read here story and you will find another hero.

Mr. Capp: Thank you for sharing your thoughts in this piece. I found it to be insightful and well written. I also appreciated the inclusion of the video. I have been trying to learn more about Dr. McDonald after seeing a program (on comcast "On Demand" under the History Channel section). I've got some of this put together that I would like to send you now but I'm going to keep working on it through the weekend. I'm having too much fun looking for this stuff and I'm getting a big giggle out of some of the great possibilities that I have found. lol

I got some goodies too.

The only thing is that I've never made a video so I don't know how they sometimes just dub in pictures and splice. I'm hoping or rather guessing you can do that.

I ask because I happen to have a few things that would need to be spliced in. I have picture of the Fort Worth NAS 301st squadron room that Karl would be working in AND, I have a picture of him too.

I don't know if it can be done but where one of the people on a Larry King Live show says that the Air Force stated and then denied - blah, blah, blah - it would be cool to dub in the picture I have on the 301st and Karl's picture.

I already have the Larry King Live video where the statement was made and it was made by Larry and not one of the researchers.

Karl is standing up and looking inside a jet. Reduced to YouTube it's not a close up but in it's normal state, it's humongous so that could maybe even be cropped. Matter of fact, I'll crop that part that shows his face so you'll have two pix.

And, MORE IMPORTANTLY, how does one become a major if they only work in media? I found that odd. I went into their website and found a whole bunch of media photos showing the goings on at the NAS and they were all taken by him. These weren't just jet photos either. They were various celebrations, retirees, etc. That's what he does, he's the NAS photographer at the 301st. lol

yea, satire is okay and something else I though might work is to stick in comments that are non specific. I found some McGaha that pertains to Phoenix but you wouldn't know it 'if you cut it off in the right spot' - it's perfect. lol

I'm marking everything by the minute mark so when you get them, you'll know exactly where on the tapes pertinent spots are located.

I have over 100 threads in the Texas section of the forum and more than 90% are Stephenville so I know I've got it already. Just need to piece it out. I'll have something together for ya by the weekend.

I'll look predominantly in the mainstream stories and YouTubes though, that way we won't be stepping on toes. Well, a few toes maybe but mainstream turned on us toward the end so there's plenty there.

The skeptics from Larry King Live are a must of course. lol Catch ya in a few days.

I went to the link and left a message trying to show empathy for those who kept their oaths at Roswell. There will always be hoaxers but they are not as prevalent as some who like us to think.

By the way, we got stung real good today on YouTube by a hoaxer. Check this out. Maybe it ran previously, I really don't know but I've never seen it until today and I rarely miss a day checking out the new ones.

Dear AC,
The world sorely misses people of his character. Sometime this higher calling to the truth can mean problem with the family and career, but when you take a career and a family away from a man like McDonald you take away the meaning of his life. Debunker will never understand that, just like they will never have empathy for any witness who disagrees with them, for the witness committed the mortal sin of their world, the witness choose not to believe their science. Some UFO researcher filter UFO witness testimony to bolstering their own theories, and in a way, no longer honor the witnesses' words.

Recently, thanks to MUFON and the FOIA (Plus 700 work hours)...the Radar tapes proved the witnesses to the UFOs in Stephenville TX were right on with the accuracy of the statements... I wonder if we will get any apology's from the debunkers who were quick to dismiss the witnesses testimony as "uniformed" or "unqualified". By the way we should all try to find the exact words debunkers said on camera dismissing the witnesses and put it on You Tube maybe then they would think twice about shooting off there big mouths and making fools of themselves.

Hi there Joe: I've been so swamped lately that I just now got a chance to finish reading The Last Scientist.

I was only 20 in 1971 so I wasn't privy to James McDonald's whole story. I've read bits and pieces here and there over the past 6 years.

Isn't that the truth? And, it's not just the young ones either anymore.

It's as if a switch was flipped for some of the older ones as well.

I don't know why but I'm wondering if it's because there haven't been any new 'great' sightings in such a very, very long time. And I'm sure that the enormous amount of hoaxes, lanterns and lies out there today have caused a bit of a disturbance in regard to attempting to research anything. A burn out of sorts since many are fed up with the 'other' possibilities.

I went to the following address after reading your article and there's a picture of Dr. McDonald in there if you scroll down the page a bit that shows a very, very happy man, as can be seen my his natural smile. That's really too bad what happened to him.
